Registered Speech-Language Pathologist
As a multilingual, experienced Registered Speech Pathologist based in Vancouver, Andrea's clients appreciate the warmth, professional integrity, and open communication that define her practice. Andrea received her Masters of Science of Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from The University of Alberta, and is currently registered in good standing with the College of Speech & Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHBC). Demonstrating her standard for clinical excellence, she is a clinically certified member of Canada's national association, Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). In addition to providing service in English, Andrea is also proud to share her multilingual clinical services in Cantonese and in Mandarin.
Andrea has worked as an SLP in acute care hospitals (including The Ottawa Hospital and St. Paul's Hospital), long-term care facilities, preschool clinics, elementary and high schools, and of course - in clients' own homes. She currently provides services to clients with diverse communication difficulties ranging from young children to adults; and is dedicated to helping all clients improve and enjoy the confidence in communicating their message!

Andrea has received special training in methods such as PROMPT tactile cueing, Lidcombe stuttering treatment, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Lee-Silverman Voice Technique (LSVT), and Hanen 'It Takes Two to Talk'. Her main clinical interests are in the areas of aphasia, voice, autism spectrum disorder, stuttering, and accent modification.

Andrea works hard to obtain specialized clinical certifications and training in order to provide the most up-to-date assessment and treatment services for children and adults. In 2018, she was recognized by the national association Speech-Language Audiology Canada (SAC) for best all-round professional graduate. Andrea also strives to work with her clients in order to personalize treatment options to each situation, and is able to do so by providing patient-centered intervention within the convenience of clients' own homes.

I typically provide home-based speech therapy throughout Greater Vancouver.

However as I am currently on Maternity Leave, I will be prioritizing service provision via Telehealth with virtual appointments only at this time.
